This compact battery-operated Truelab® system works with disease specific TruenatTM micro-PCR chips providing rapid results in one hour with real-time data transfer for the immediate reporting of results, thus enabling same day reporting and the initiation of evidence-based treatment for the patient.
Truelab® testing technology is fully portable, and its robust design makes it capable to run rapid diagnostic testing in the heart of the community without the need for a stable power supply or air-conditioning; Truelab® can literally be set up in a barangay hall, a basketball court, or even a field. Furthermore, the system can be operated without highly skilled manpower and without special storage conditions. The standard operating procedures allow for multiplexing so that from the same eluate of extracted nucleic acid, DNA is available for repeat testing or further investigation and quality management purposes.
In addition to Truenat® MTB for the detection of MTB, the Truelab® system is able to support rapid confirmation for a wide range of infectious diseases like HBV, HIV-1, Leptospira, Malaria Pv/Pf, Dengue/Chikungunya, Salmonella, HPV-HR, CT/NG, HLA-B27 (FDA approval in progress for some kits).
